A new financial year is here, which is an opportunity to re-set, look at what worked last year, what didn't and make changes - I so love looking at ways to improve all the areas of my life, including business!
One of the things I have been reflecting on lately is my purpose. You see, we all start our business with a strong purpose and why. But it is easier, as things pick up and we get busy, to disconnect from that purpose and things start feeling misaligned.
That's why I think that pausing every year to reflect and realign ourselves with our values and purpose can be grounding and bring light and clarity. If you've not done it yet, maybe it's now a good time to do it as a new financial year has just started and we can reset and start fresh.
Here there are some ideas of things to look at:
What is your purpose? Connecting with our purpose, our beat, we flow and abundance comes easily
Is your business aligned with your values, circumstances and what gives you joy?
Are your business goals and objectives for the new financial year clear?
Have you done your annual budget?
Realigning with your purpose
When we pause to reconnect with our purpose —our unique rhythm— we shift from pushing to flowing. Life feels less like a to-do list and more like an unfolding dance (if you like dancing, of course!).
In that alignment, clarity returns, energy lifts, and abundance often follows with surprising ease. It’s not about doing more, but about remembering what truly matters and moving from that space.
Planning & budgeting for a new financial year
A new financial year is a fresh opportunity to be intentional with your time, energy, and money.
It’s the perfect moment to reflect on what worked, what drained you, and what you want to do differently. Planning and budgeting aren’t just about spreadsheets — they’re about creating a structure that supports your goals and aligns with your values. When you map your priorities and allocate resources mindfully, you create space for growth, stability, and a sense of calm in your day-to-day decisions.
If you have been planning and budgeting for the year, or are in the process of doing it, here you have some resources to support you. If you need support with this, please get in touch.
